Apologies, Athletics and One-armed Flossing in the DysNet Digest

dysnetdigestThere has been much news this week about the Thalidomide apology from Grunenthal.  DysNet's parent EDRIC, which was started by a group of European thalidomide survivors, was quoted extensively in publications around the world.  You can read our own press release here.  EDRIC Chairman, Geoff Adams-Spink also had an opinion piece published on CNN.com

The Paralympics are still in full swing with just last night, Britain's Jonnie Peacock powering to a record in the T44 100m.  Sarah Storey has also achieved the amazing feat of 11 Paralympic gold medals. 

Watch out too for the Junior Games that take place at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the home of the Paralympics on 15th/16th - there may be some future Paralympians in the making there!
