The following is an article written by Joan Niblock in the 1960's about her first hand experience of brining up her daughter Alexandra who was affected by Thalidomide. Alexandra has also added in her own thoughts and comments (the notes in brackets). It's a very interesting and moving insight into the challenges these parents, and the families faced.
