"For the first time in five years I can hold my daughter's hand.  I can't tell you what a gift that feels like.  Nothing is perfect, but I feel like I can be a more active participant in everyday life with these hands."

Jason - new life with Touch Bionics prosthetics after high voltage accident

In 2008, Jason was riding a four-wheeler on his grandfather's farm when he came in contact with a downed power line.  His body was jolted with 7,200 volts of electricity.  He was placed in a medically-induced comma and to save his life, doctors had to amputate both hands.  He woke up 3 days later at the hospital.  As a young husband and father, Jason was highly motivated to get back to normal life with his family.

Jason was the first double amputee in the world to receive i-limb ultra revolution as one of the most innovative products available.  Jason's hands can also be programmed and controlled by an iPhone app.

He now spend time reaching out to other amputees to tell his story and helps keep a positive outlook with his outgoing personality.  He has had several media appearances on shows such at CNN's Dr.  Sanjay Gupta, Hawaii 5-0, and several local news networks.
