Chiara Storchi, Engineer, person with visible disability, has been working for 3 and a half years at IIT-Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in strict cooperation among others with INAIL.
I had the opportunity to meet her recently during the National Assembly of Raggiungere in Genoa.
Listen to her experience in this short interview!
Many thanks Chiara for telling us about your professional and personal living.

It is truly inspiring to see how rapidly assistive technology is evolving to break down barriers, especially in the realm of education where traditional setups don't always accommodate everyone's unique needs. As someone who relies heavily on digital tools to navigate a demanding degree, I’ve realized that "support" comes in many forms—from adaptive hardware to specialized academic resources. There have been weeks when my health made it nearly impossible to spend hours hunched over complex lab reports or data sets, and in those moments, finding reliable online science homework help was a genuine lifesaver. It allowed me to keep up with my peers without compromising my well-being, proving that when we use technology to supplement our efforts, we can focus more…
It is truly incredible to see how rapid advancements in assistive technology are breaking down barriers and fostering greater independence for persons with disabilities. The way these high-tech systems are designed—integrating complex hardware with intuitive software interfaces—is a testament to the power of inclusive engineering. For students studying these systems, it can be quite a challenge to map out the intricate interactions between users and assistive devices, which is why many seek out uml diagram assignment help to better visualize the structural and behavioral blueprints of these life-changing technologies. Seeing the direct impact that thoughtful design has on accessibility is a powerful reminder of why we need more innovation in this field!
